Observe before adjusting
Record where mistracking first becomes visible and whether it changes with the load. Off-centre loading, build-up and alignment are different issues; they should not be treated as one generic belt problem.
Plan a safe inspection
Inspection and maintenance must follow the site’s isolation and hazardous-energy procedures. Do not reach into, clean or adjust a moving conveyor. Have qualified personnel review the observations and the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
This guide introduces questions and requirements for further review. It does not replace engineering assessment, equipment instructions or site safety procedures.
