Identify the working position
A carrying roller, return roller and impact roller perform different roles. Identify the station and belt geometry before comparing replacement options. A similar appearance does not establish interchangeability.
Make the interfaces explicit
Provide the approved dimensions, shaft arrangement, mounting details and operating environment. Ask the supplier to identify the offered bearing and sealing arrangement. Confirm compatibility against the conveyor documentation before installation.
